RAM: Set of 2 coins Lunar: Year of the Dragon 2024
The set features two coins that are minted from aluminium bronze, each coin has a weight of 9 grams and a diameter of 25 mm. The renowned mint, The Royal Australian Mint, is responsible for the limited issuance of the coins. The products are guaranteed by the Australian Government and are legal tender in the country of issue.The obverse of the first coin is decorated with an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Jody Clark. The whole is surrounded by the inscription "ELIZABETH II" , "AUSTRALIA" and information on the face value and the year of issue. The obverse of the second coin presents the 12 animals of the Chinese lunar calendarRevers depicting the figure of a dragon and the inscription "YEAR OF THE DRAGON", as well as a Chinese character. The reverse was designed by B.Scott.
