The coin was produced from pure Ag.999 bullion, with a weight of one troy ounce and a diameter of 40 mm. The distinctive feature of the coin is an accentuation on the obverse side and a concavity on the reverse side. The renowned mint, The Royal Australian Mint, is responsible for a limited mintage of 50,000 pieces. The product is guaranteed by the Australian government and is legal tender in the country of issue.The obverse of the silver coin is decorated with an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Jody Clark. The whole is surrounded by the inscription "ELIZABETH II" , "AUSTRALIA", as well as 12 animals from the Chinese lunar calendar. Rewers depict the figure of a seated rabbit. The reverse bears the inscription "YEAR OF THE RABBIT", and a Chinese character. The designer of the reverse was B.Scott.
