RAM: Koala 1 oz Silver 2025 Proof High Relief
One of the most recognizable native Australian animals has appeared on new gold and silver coins from the Royal Australian Mint. The koala is a distinctive small marsupial native to Australia. This bullion coin was struck from pure Ag.999 silver, has a face value of $1 and a weight of one troy ounce. In addition to its investment potential, the coin is also recommended for collectors due to its limited mintage of only 3,000 pieces.
The Koala coin is issued by the world-renowned producer of investment products – the Royal Australian Mint. Each coin featuring the image of the Koala serves as legal tender and is backed by the Australian government in terms of legality, metal purity, and origin.
The obverse of the silver coin features King Charles III, designed by Daniel Thorne, along with the face value, issuing country, and year of issue.
The reverse of the coin displays an engraved image of a koala in its natural habitat. It also includes the inscription "KOALA" and information about the coin’s weight and metal purity.
