RAM: Kangaroo Series – Bush Capital 1 oz Silver 2025 Proof is an exceptional collector coin issued by the Royal Australian Mint as part of the popular Kangaroo Series. It is the thirty-second release in this series and a special edition commemorating the Mint’s 60th anniversary. The coin is titled “Bush Capital” and pays tribute to Canberra, Australia’s capital city, and its iconic resident, the eastern grey kangaroo.

The coin has a strictly limited mintage of 5,000 pieces. Each coin has been struck to the highest Proof standard and comes in an elegant collector’s case. As legal tender of Australia, the coin is not only an attractive addition to any collection but also a remarkable keepsake celebrating the Royal Australian Mint’s anniversary.

Obverse features the effigy of King Charles III, surrounded by his name, the issuing country, and the year of issue. The design was created by Daniel Thorne.

Reverse depicts a dynamic eastern grey kangaroo in front of a stylized representation of Canberra – the “Bush Capital”. The design includes dense bushland and iconic city landmarks such as Parliament House, Black Mountain Tower, and the Royal Australian Mint itself. Floating hot air balloons complete the composition, symbolizing one of Canberra’s most recognizable attractions. The reverse also shows the face value of 1 AUD along with weight and silver purity information.
