Poland 20 Zloty Banknote (20 PLN) Circulated Condition
The 20-zloty banknote in circulated condition is a modern means of payment that combines aesthetics with advanced security technologies. Its dimensions are 126 x 63 mm, and the design draws on the figure of King Bolesław I the Brave, symbolizing the beginnings of Polish statehood and a rich cultural heritage.
On the obverse of the banknote is a portrait of King Bolesław I the Brave, surrounded by elements referring to his reign. On the left is a Romanesque portal, and on the right—the crown of a young oak from the Gniezno Doors, depicting the scene of the laying out of St. Adalbert’s body. The banknote features a watermark, a denomination numeral, tactile elements, and a recto-verso effect.
On the reverse there is a denarius of Bolesław I the Brave featuring the silhouette of a bird and the inscription "PRINCES POLONIE". Next to it are the Rotunda of St. Nicholas in Cieszyn and a drawing of a lion from the Gniezno Doors. Additional security features include an iridescent stripe and microprinting.
