Snakes are known as philosophical thinkers, patient and contemplative. The Chinese zodiac sign of the Snake applies to the years: 1917, 1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013, and 2025.

This unique Year of the Snake coin was issued for the numismatic event – the Perth Stamp and Coin Show. It is minted from pure Ag.9999 silver, weighing 1 troy ounce with a diameter of 40.9 mm. The limited mintage of 1,500 pieces is produced by the renowned precious metals manufacturer – The Perth Mint. The coin is guaranteed by the Australian government for its metal purity and origin and is legal tender in the issuing country. It features a micro-engraved security mark on the reverse side.
