The Lunar III Bullion Value: Year of the Rabbit coloured 1000 gram Silver 2023 Gold Privy Mark is the fourth release in the Lunar III series. The previous coins in the series were the Year of the Mouse 2020, the Year of the Buffalo 2021 and the Year of the Tiger 2022. The Lunar series refers to the 12 animals that represent the Chinese lunar calendar. The year 2023 belongs to the rabbit, otherwise known as the cat. The Chinese zodiac sign of the rabbit falls in the years 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011, 2023. All Lunar III coins are extremely popular among investors and collectors alike every year, and the design of the values is prepared with the utmost care and precision by world-renowned designers. It is worth remembering that products being a part of the lunar collection are an excellent investment of capital, due to the investment value increasing every year.

The coin was struck from Ag.9999 sterling silver, weighing 1000 grams and having a diameter of 100.6 mm. The Perth Mint, a renowned precious metals producer, is responsible for issuing the coin. The coin is guaranteed by the Australian Government as to the legality and origin of the metal, and is also legal tender in the issuer's country. What's more, this unusual piece features a gold Privy Mark and is produced in a limited edition of just 388 pieces.

The Averse side of the Year of the Rabbit coin is decorated with the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II", "AUSTRALIA". In addition, the obverse side features information on the face value, weight and minting sample of the coin.

Rewers show coloured, two rabbits, one sitting and the other standing on its hind legs. The reverse also features the Chinese character 'rabbit', the inscription 'RABBIT 2023' and the letter 'P', the mint mark of The Perth Mint. The reverse was designed by Ing Ing Jong.
