Perth Mint: Lunar III - Year of the Dragon 1 oz Silver 2024 Proof Opal
The silver coin with the image of the dragon, was struck in bullion sample - Ag.9999, in proof standard. The coin contains elements of opal. An important feature is the coin's limited mintage of only 6,000 pieces. Each coin comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity and original packaging.
The obverse of the Year of the Dragon coin is decorated with an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Jody Clark. The whole is surrounded by the inscription "ELIZABETH II", "AUSTRALIA" and information about the coin's face value
Rewers feature an image of a Chinese dragon made of opal. The reverse also features the Chinese dragon mark, the inscription 'YEAR OF THE DRAGON'and the letter 'P', the mint mark of The Perth Mint, as well as information on the bullion proof, weight and mintage year.
