Peace Dollar Silver Coin Random Year NGC MS63
The Peace Dollar is a silver coin with a face value of one dollar, minted by the United States Mint from 1921 to 1928 and again in 1934 and 1935. This coin was introduced into circulation as a response to the end of World War I, which is why it is called the "Peace Dollar". Each piece, featuring the image of the personification of Liberty, is struck in pure silver with a fineness of Ag.900 and weighs 26.73 grams.
Obverse depicts the personification of Liberty, a symbol of the United States, the year of issue, the inscription "LIBERTY", and the motto taken from the Declaration of Independence - "In God We Trust".
Reverse is decorated with an eagle, the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "PEACE". The reverse also includes the denomination and the motto "E pluribus unum" (Latin: Out of many, one).
