In 1620, Sir John Melton first mentioned clovers bringing good luck in literature, he wrote: "If a man walking in a field finds any four-leaved grass, he will soon find something good". The coin was struck in pure silver of Ag.9999, weighing 1 troy ounce, 38.61 mm in diameter, in proof standard. The mintage of the coin is 2,025 pieces. The product is full legal tender in the Republic of Palau. The mint CIT - Coin Invest AG is responsible for issuing the piece.
The obverse shows the "Republic of Palau" logo. The obverse also shows the denomination and the inscriptions "REPUBLIC OF PALAU", "ONE OUNCE OF LUCK".
