In addition, the Noah's Ark silver coins are guaranteed by the Government of the Republic of Armenia as to their legality, purity of sample and origin of the bullion, and are full legal tender within the country. The Overt of the coin depicts the Armenian Coat of Arms along with the 500 dram denomination and the year of issue. On the right-hand side, below the coat of arms, the weight and the silver sample in which the coin was struck are shown. At the lower edge is the inscription 'Republic of Armenia'.

The Rewers of the coin, designed by Eduard Kurghinyan, depicts an ark against the background of a rough sea. The background shows Mount Ararat, and the rising sun. In addition, the coin's edge bears the inscription "Noah's ark", in English (Noah's ark).
