The scientist was involved in experimental physics and physical chemistry. The Polish woman discovered two radioactive elements, polonium and radium, and was a double Nobel Prize winner in physics and chemistry. This unique issue has a strictly limited mintage of only 2,000 pieces. The silver coin is struck in pure Ag.999 bullion, weighing 1 troy ounce and with a diameter of 40 mm, in proof standard. The renowned mint manufacturer, New Zealand Mint, is responsible for its production. In addition, each piece is guaranteed by the New Zealand government and is legal tender in the issuing country.The obverse of the silver coin features an image of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Ian Rank-Broadley, along with information on the coin's face value and year of issue.
