Its subject is a toucan, a bird associated with the tropical forests of Central and South America. The colourful beak and plumage stand out against the darker silver background.
Two ounces of silver in High Relief
Struck from 2 troy ounces of .9999 fine silver in BU quality, this 50 mm coin features High Relief and a face value of 5 Niue dollars. Ruthenium finishing, selective colour and individual numbering emphasise the design. The worldwide mintage is limited to 300 pieces.
Limited edition and presentation
Each coin is protected in a capsule and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, a decorative beautybox and a wooden box. Cardboard, paper, wood and linen used in the presentation complement the nature-inspired theme.
