The Niue: Shamrock 1 oz Silver 2022 bullion coin is a specimen displaying a three-leaf clover. Legend has it that Saint Patrick used the clover to depict the Holy Trinity. The shamrock is considered a national symbol in Ireland. According to tradition, on St Patrick's Day, or 17 March, every Irish person carries a three-leaf clover.

The coin was struck in Ag.9999 sterling silver, weighing 1 troy ounce and measuring 38mm in diameter. The coin's issue is limited to 25,000 pieces and is guaranteed by the Government of Niue as to the purity of the bullion, legality and origin of the metal. The currency is also full legal tender in the issuing country.

The obverse of the silver coin features an image of Queen Elizabeth II, the inscription "NIUE 2022" and information about the purity of the bullion and the face value of the coin. The designer of the obverse was Ian Rank-Broadley.

The reverse of the coin features a three-leaf clover, the inscription "SHAMROCK" and information about the weight and purity of the bullion.
