The obverse of the coin is decorated with the Niue coat of arms and flying saucer, the inscription "NIUE ISLAND" and the coin's denomination and year. The Rewers depict an image of Nikola Tesla. The reverse bears the inscription "MASTER OF LIGHTNING".
