The coin's issue is limited to 15,000 pieces and comes with a guarantee from the Niue Government as to the purity of the bullion, legality and origin of the metal. The currency is also full legal tender in the issuing country.
The obverse of the silver coin depicts an image of Queen Elizabeth II, the inscription "ELIZABETH II", "NIUE ISLAND 2022" and information on the face value of the coin. The obverse was designed by Ian Rank-Broadley.
The reverse of the coin features the Welsh Dragon, the inscription "WELSH DRAGON" and information on the weight and purity of the bullion.
