Niue: Czech Lion 1 oz Silver 2023 Proof with Hologram
The silver bullion coin was struck from pure Ag.999 bullion, weighing 1 troy ounce and with a diameter of 37 mm, in proof standard. The product has a mintage of only 10,000 pieces. This unique piece has been produced by the Czech precious metals producer, Czech Mint, as well as being official legal tender in Niue. The entire series comes with a guarantee as to the legality, purity of the bullion and the origin of the metal.The Mint in 2020, in cooperation with IQ Structures, created the "Czech Security Check", an additional security hologram.
The obverse of the coin features the Niue coat of arms, lime leaves and information about the year of mintage and the face value of the coin. The Reverse depicts the head of a lion, the embossed crown of St Wenceslas and an eagle. The reverse bears the inscription "CESKA REPUBLIKA" and information on the weight and purity of the bullion. The designer of the reverse was Asamat Baltaev.
