New Gate 1 oz. Gold 2019 Proof is the 4th coin in the "Gates of Jerusalem" series, which depicts the "New Gate" within the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem. It was built in 1889 by the Ottoman authorities. It is the newest gate of the main 8 gates in the walls and was placed at the highest point.
The currency is minted from Au gold.9999, weighing 1 troy ounce and 32 mm in diameter. The coin comes with individual, certified packaging. The mintage of the product is 1,800 pieces. In addition, this remarkable piece was produced by The Holy Land Mint. Obverse shows the "New Gate" and the inscription "NEW GATE." The obverse features information about the year, purity and weight of the bullion written in Hebrew, English.
