NBP "300th anniversary of the coronation of the Image of Lady of Jasna Góra" 20 PLN 2017
The NBP Banknote "300th Anniversary of the Coronation of the Icon of Our Lady of Jasna Gora" 20 zloty 2017 is a collector's offer of the National Bank of Poland. This unique product commemorates the 300th anniversary of the coronation of the Icon of Our Lady of Jasna Gora. The banknote has a size of 150 mm x 77 mm, a nominal value of PLN 20 and a limited mintage of up to 50,000 pieces. Justyna Kopecka is responsible for the design of the banknote. The Averse depicts an engraving from 1717 showing the coronation of the Miraculous Picture and a plan of the monastery. The obverse bears the inscription "NARODOWY BANK POLSKI", as well as information on the nominal value of the banknote. The Rewers of the banknote feature two crowns: Mary and the Infant, a Marian monogram, the so-called recto-verso, and the Pauline coat of arms, which is a watermark. The reverse bears the inscription "300th Anniversary of the Coronation of the Icon of Our Lady of Jasna Gora" and information on the face value of the coin. In addition to the collector's value, attention should be drawn to the security features applied. The main implemented security features include: series and numbering visible in daylight and UV light, angle effect, microprint, optically variable ink, watermark, window thread or iridescent stripe.
