The coin is the second piece in the Myths & Legends series. The coin is struck in pure Ag.999 bullion, weighing 10 troy ounces and 89 mm in diameter. The Royal Mint, a respected and trusted precious metals producer, is responsible for its issuance. Importantly, this silver coin has an unlimited mintage. Myths & Legends: Maid Marian is guaranteed by the UK Government and is official legal tender in the issuing country. The On the obverse is immortalised a portrait of King Charles III of Great Britain, designed by Martin Jennings. It also shows the face value of the coin. The Rewers of the silver coin depicts the image of the heroine of folk legends, namely Maid Marian with a quiver full of arrows from a bow on her back, in the midst of Sherwood Forest. The reverse shows the weight, date of issue and purity of the bullion, as well as the inscription 'MAID MARIAN'. The reverse was designed by Jody Clark.
