The King Arthur 1 oz Gold 2023 coin depicts the ruler of historic Britain King Arthur, the hero of countless legends, literary works and films. He is known, among other things, for his famous work 'Knights of the Round Table'. The coin is the first piece in the second Myths & Legends series. The coin is struck in pure Au.9999 bullion, with a weight of one troy ounce and a diameter of 32.69 mm. The Royal Mint, a respected and trusted precious metals producer, is responsible for its issuance. Importantly, this gold coin has an unlimited mintage. The coin is guaranteed by the UK Government and acts as official legal tender in the issuing country. What's more, individual coins are shipped in protective caps. The obverse features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing a crown. The obverse also shows the face value of the coin. The designer of the obverse was Jody Clark. The Rewers of the gold coin features an image of King Arthur holding a sword against the backdrop of Camelot Castle.
