Morgan 1 Dollar is an American silver coin with a face value of 1 dollar, minted between 1878-1904 and again in 1921. The coin is named after its designer, George T. Morgan. It is a flagship product of the United States Mint. Each piece, featuring the personification of Liberty, is struck from pure silver of .900 fineness, weighing 26.73 grams.
Obverse depicts the personification of Liberty, a symbol of the United States and liberation, along with the motto "E pluribus unum" (Latin: Out of many, one) and the year of issue.
Reverse is adorned with an eagle holding arrows. Above the eagle, the inscription "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" is visible. The reverse includes the denomination and the motto from the Declaration of Independence - "In God We Trust."
