Metalor: Gold Bar 100 gram

Bars are one of the many investment options available and are also one of the oldest ways of investing capital. Metalor gold bars stand out from other investment bars in that it has a specialised BullionProtect® security feature. The security feature enables the bullion to be protected against counterfeiting or forgery. The solution was developed through a collaboration between the SICPA and Metalor Technologies. The technology consists of applying a special ink to the surface of the bullion, enabling a high level of security that is scratch-resistant. Commonly, this method is used for passports. BullionProtect® also enables:

-Visual inspection of the security seal,

- Quick verification using a light flashing system or validator,

- Unique QR code embedded in the seal, readable by any smartphone.

Bars above 20 grams have DataMatrix technology, enabling verification of the bar and the distributor.

The bar has a purity of Au.9999, weight of 100 grams and dimensions of 27.5 x 47.5 mm. The bar has been minted by Metalor.
