Lunar II: Year of the Monkey 2 oz Silver 2016
Lunar II: Year of the Monkey is the ninth copy from the popular Australian Lunar II series. The series is modelled on the Chinese lunar calendar, with a different lunar animal adorning each year of the Lunar series coins.The 2016 silver bullion coin is made of pure 999 bullion, weighing two troy ounces. The renowned mint, The Perth Mint, is responsible for its 34,368 issue. In addition, all coins are guaranteed by the Australian Government and are legal tender in the issuing country.The obverse of the silver coin is decorated with an image of Queen Elizabeth II along with information on the weight, date of issue and country of issue.The reverse features an illustration of a lunar animal.
