Lunar I: Year of the Mouse 2 oz Silver 2008
The Year of the Pig silver coin produced by the Perth Mint is the eighth coin in the Lunar I series. The Lunar I series products are of great interest to collectors due to their rarity on the market. This particular specimen is made of silver weighing one ounce, bullion grade 999 and has a limited mintage of 50,000 pieces. The coin is guaranteed by the Australian Government and is full legal tender in the country. It is worth noting that this unique product has a small gold content, which is situated on the image of a pig. The obverse of the Year of the Dog gold coin features an image of Queen Elizabeth II along with the weight and country of issue.
