Lunar I: Year of the Dog 1 oz Gold
The 2008 Year of the Mouse is the first release in the Lunar II series, issued by the Australian Mint Perth Mint. This unique coin was made from silver weighing ten ounces and a bullion grade of 999. The coin is guaranteed by the Australian Government and is full legal tender in the country. Additionally, the number of minted pieces was 3,718.The images of all coins in the Lunar collection are modelled on the Chinese lunar calendar.
