The Leuchtturm LU2 is a hand magnifier for examining coins, stamps, banknotes and fine print. Its handle lets you position the lens over a selected detail without moving the collectible itself.

Two magnification areas

The 75 mm acrylic main lens provides 2.5× magnification, while a smaller 5× area helps inspect finer details. The frame and handle are made of black plastic. This is neither a stand magnifier nor an illuminated model.

Examining coins, stamps and documents

When examining a coin, start with the larger viewing area and then move to the 5× section for a small feature. The magnifier also helps read fine text and inspect stamp perforations; magnification alone cannot establish authenticity.

Clean the lens with a soft cloth and protect it from scratches and prolonged strong sunlight. Avoid touching the surfaces of coins and banknotes during examination. The package contains one LU2 magnifier; pictured collectibles are not included.
