The 1-kilogram silver Kookaburra coin was made of 999 silver bullion. The whole coin is distinguished by the characteristic design of the reverse, which presents an unusual bird - the Kookaburra. Australia's oldest mint, Perth Mint, is responsible for the production of the silver bullion coin. The uniqueness of this specimen is underlined by its limited mintage of 32,973 pieces. The kookaburra is the largest representative of the kingfisher family. The body plumage is beige and the wings are brown with blue spots. This specimen is found in Australia and New Guinea. The obverse of the silver coin captures a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing a crown, as well as information about the coin's denomination. The reverse depicts the image of the Kookaburra, which is modified annually.
