Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński 100th anniversary of the birth of 2005
The Konstanty Ildefons Galczynski coin was created to honour the famous Polish poet, who became famous by creating the para-dramatic series The Green Goose Theatre. The coin was created from sterling silver with a purity of 925 and a weight of 14.14 g. The obverse depicts an illustration of the eagle, which represents the emblem of the Republic of Poland, with a riding carriage below. Additionally, on the obverse it is possible to read information such as the face value and the year of issue of the coin, as well as the inscription RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA.The reverse depicts the figure of Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński together with the years in which he lived, 1905-1953.
