The collector's Kiwi 1/4 oz Gold 2024 Proof numismat is a unique coin from the limited Kiwi series issued since 2004. The 2024 product depicts the 'Roroa Great Spotted Kiwi', which is one of the largest species of kiwi. The infant mainly inhabits the higher elevations of some national parks in the South Island. Roroa in the Rotoiti Nature Restoration Project (RNRP) are protected through the work of the Department of Conservation

The coin is minted in pure Au.9999 gold, weighing 1/4 troy ounce and measuring 26 mm in diameter, to proof standard by BH Mayer's Kunstprägeanstalt GmbH, commissioned by the New Zealand Post.

This unique coin is produced using a mirror stamp. Furthermore, the Kiwi 2024 has a limited mintage of only 500 pieces. Importantly, each piece is supplied in an exclusive case along with a numbered certificate of authenticity.

The obverse of the coin is decorated with the likeness of King Charles III. The obverse features information on the date of issue, country of issue, weight and purity of the bullion. The obverse was designed by Stephen J. Fuller

Rewers depicts a kiwi by the shore of Lake Rotoiti. The reverse also bears the inscription 'ROROA GREAT SPOTTED KIWI APTERYX MAXIMA' and the face value of the coin. The designer of the reverse was Stevan Stojanovic.
