Kangaroo Yongka coloured 2 oz Silver 2023 Antiqued Coin
The silver coin is minted in pure silver, Ag.9999 grade weighing 2 troy ounces, 50.8 mm in diameter, in antiqued standard.Moreover, it has the added security of an engraved 'P' on the reverse side. The product was produced by Australia's oldest mint, Perth Mint, and is guaranteed by the Australian Government and is full legal tender in the issuer's country. The silver coin is situated in a customised, certified packaging.
The kangaroo features, alongside the Emu, in Australia's state coat of arms and is the national symbol. It can survive for weeks without water, spends its childhood in a bag, moves around by jumping and is one of the largest mammals on Earth. The name kangaroo, from Kangaroo, was given by English settlers and comes from the Aboriginal word 'gungurru'.
The obverse features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing a crown. The obverse features the weight, year of issue, bullion proof, year of mintage of the silver coin and country of issue, designed by Jody Clark. The Rewers is decorated with an image of a colourful, jumping kangaroo and elements inspired by Aboriginal culture.
