In Memory of the Ulma Family 50 PLN Silver 2024 Coin
The Ulma Family Memorial 50zł Silver 2024 is a silver collector coin issued by the National Bank of Poland. This unique product commemorates the Ulma family, whose attitude during World War II was extraordinary. In the face of extermination, they decided to give shelter to eight Jews in their home. For this heroic decision, they were cruelly murdered by the German occupiers. The coin additionally features amber, which is visible on the reverse side. The silver coin was minted in 2024 in Ag.999 bullion, weighing 62.2 grams and 45 mm in diameter. This collector's item has a strictly limited mintage of only up to 5,000 pieces. What's more, the coin has been protected in a dedicated cap and the whole coin comes in a wooden case with an accompanying certificate of authenticity. Each coin comes with an accompanying folder. The obverse depicts a composition of palm leaves and lily flowers. The obverse bears the inscription "RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA 2024", "50 ZŁ" and "BŁOGOSŁAWIENI SAMARYTANIE", as well as the image of an eagle, established for the emblem of the Republic of Poland. On the reverse is an image of the Ulma family with amber. The reverse bears the inscription 'IN MEMORY OF THE ULMA FAMILY'.Do you need help?
