The book celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2022 and is the first part of a seven-volume series of novels where the main character is Harry Potter, facing evil in the wizarding world. The copy is minted in Ag.925 sterling silver, weighing 8 grams, 27.30 mm in diameter, in proof standard. The mintage of the coin is 15,000 pieces. In addition, this unusual piece was produced by The Royal Mint. The product has been housed in its original packaging. The coin is guaranteed by the UK government as to its legality, purity of bullion and origin of metal, and is full legal tender in the issuer's country. The Overt shows the likeness of King Charles III of Great Britain and the denomination and year, as designed by Martin Jennings.
