The limited edition Grenada: Octopus 1 oz Silver 2020 coin is the perfect value for anyone looking to add variety to their collection. This silver coin belongs to the EC8 (Eastern Caribbean Coin Program) collector program. EC8 is a series that consists of eight coins. The issuers of the said coins are the islands (Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Anguilla, Montserrat), which are members of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank. Consequently, the coins included in the EC8 series contain images that are directly related to the aforementioned islands.
The 2020 Octopus is a coin with a mintage of just 25,000 pieces. It is also a coin that is minted from pure 999 bullion, with a weight of one ounce and a diameter of 39 mm. US precious metals producer Scottsdale Mint is responsible for the production of the octopus. In addition, each of the offered coins is packaged in a plastic cap.
Obverse the coin depicts a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and information about the weight, bullion proof and denomination of the currency.
