The Australian Outback consists of vast, sparsely populated areas covering a significant portion of the continent. Harsh deserts, rocky mountains, dried-up riverbeds, and expansive savannas create a habitat for hundreds of endemic animal species. It is here that some of Australia’s most iconic wildlife can be found, including kangaroos, emus, dingoes, crocodiles, and wedge-tailed eagles.

The coin is struck from 1 ounce of Au 9999 gold, has a diameter of 32.60 mm, and a face value of 100 Australian dollars. The worldwide mintage is limited to just 200 pieces, making it an exceptionally exclusive collector’s item.

The obverse features the official effigy of King Charles III by Dan Thorne. The surrounding design includes stylized motifs of Australian flora, along with information about the coin’s weight, gold purity, and face value.
