The Gold Coin Polish Circulation Banknotes – 10 zloty banknote Gold 2023 Proof NGC PF 70 Ultra Cameo is an exceptional collector’s item from the National Bank of Poland, whose design refers to the contemporary Polish circulation banknote. The issue was created in cooperation between the NBP and the Polish Security Printing Works and stands out thanks to its original rectangular shape.
Highest NGC Grade PF 70 Ultra Cameo
The piece measures 50 × 25 mm, has a face value of 10 zloty, and was struck in Proof quality. The maximum mintage is 1,500 pieces. The presented specimen has undergone professional NGC grading and received the highest grade of PF 70 Ultra Cameo, confirming its perfect state of preservation and strong contrast between the frosted relief elements and the mirrored background. The coin is housed in a protective NGC slab.
The combination of a limited issue, an unusual banknote-like form, and the highest grading score makes this a particularly attractive specimen for collectors of modern NBP coins, gold issues, and certified numismatic items.
Obverse and Reverse
Obverse depicts a silver denarius featuring the image of a chapel dome or a representation of a crown topped with a small cross. On both sides, stylized Romanesque columns inspired by the Benedictine Abbey in Tyniec are visible. The composition is complemented by the inscriptions “RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA”, “DZIESIĘĆ ZŁOTYCH”, “NBP”, and issue-related information.
Reverse shows a portrait of Duke Mieszko I. To his left are two rosettes inspired by the pattern from the floor of Gniezno Cathedral, while to his right there is a floral ornament referring to Romanesque liturgical vessels. Also visible are the inscriptions “10”, “DZIESIĘĆ ZŁOTYCH”, and “NARODOWY BANK POLSKI”.
