Gold Lunar Ounce Coin – Year of the Goat 1/12 oz Gold 2027 is a collector’s issue from the renowned Lunar Ounce series, inspired by the Chinese lunar calendar. The coin was struck from 1/12 ounce of Au 999 gold for the Republic of Rwanda and commemorates the Year of the Goat – the eighth sign of the Chinese zodiac, symbolizing gentleness, harmony, creativity, and inner peace.

The Chinese lunar calendar is based on a twelve-year cycle in which each year is represented by a different animal. People born in the Year of the Goat are considered kind, patient, and sensitive, as well as gifted with an artistic soul and a love of beauty. Motifs inspired by the Chinese zodiac have enjoyed great popularity for years among both collectors and investors around the world.

The coin was struck from 1/12 ounce of Au 999 gold, has a diameter of 25 mm, and a face value of 100 Rwandan francs (FRW). The piece was produced in the Brilliant Uncirculated minting standard. The mintage is limited to 888 pieces.
