Gold Coin Lord of the Rings: Kingdom of Gondor 1.75 g Gold 2026
Gold Coin Lord of the Rings: Kingdom of Gondor 1.75 g Gold 2026 is a collector’s issue by Monnaie de Paris inspired by one of the most important kingdoms in the world of “The Lord of the Rings.” The coin’s design refers to the symbolism of Gondor, whose history is inseparably linked with Aragorn and the struggle for the future of Middle-earth.
Lord of the Rings gold coin
The coin was struck in Au. 999 fine gold and weighs 1.75 g, which means approximately 1.748 g of pure gold. Its diameter is 13 mm, and its face value is as much as 250 euros. The issue was produced in BU standard, while the mintage was limited to 10,000 pieces. Its small format and high precious metal purity give this piece a distinctive collector’s character.
The Kingdom of Gondor and the White Tree
The central symbol of the issue is the White Tree of Gondor, associated with the heritage of Númenor and the royal line of Gondor. In the kingdom’s heraldry, the tree is accompanied by a crown and seven stars. This motif is one of the most recognizable emblems of Gondor in the world created by J.R.R. Tolkien.
Obverse and reverse of the coin
Obverse features elements identifying the French Monnaie de Paris issue, including the face value of 250 euros.
Reverse depicts the White Tree of Gondor, above which a crown and seven stars are placed. The composition is complemented by the inscription “ROYAUME DU GONDOR,” the year of issue 2026, and a decorative border referring to the style of Middle-earth.
