Gold Coin Krugerrand 1/10 oz Gold 2026 Proof
Krugerrand 1/10 oz Gold Coin 2026 Proof is the collector’s version of one of the world’s most recognizable investment coins. Issued by the South African Mint, the Krugerrand has remained a symbol of the precious metals market and one of the most recognizable investment products in the history of numismatics since its introduction in 1967.
The coin is struck in 22-karat gold (Au 916.7). It contains 1/10 troy ounce of fine gold, while the total weight is approximately 3.39 g. The diameter is 16.5 mm. The piece is finished to Proof standard, featuring mirror-like fields and a frosted relief that highlights the design details. The mintage is 2,000 pieces. The coin is delivered in its original mint case.
For over half a century, the Krugerrand has remained one of the most recognizable symbols of the investment gold market. The coin’s name derives from the surname of the first president of the Republic of South Africa—Paul Kruger—and from the name of the South African currency, the rand.
Obverse depicts a portrait of Paul Kruger—the first president of the Republic of South Africa—together with the country’s name in two languages: "SOUTH AFRICA" and "SUID-AFRIKA".
Reverse features a springbok antelope, one of the national symbols of the Republic of South Africa. The design is completed by the year of issue and the gold content.
