Gold Coin Canadian Golden Eagle 1 oz Gold 2018

The Golden Eagle coin is the fifth release in the “Call of the Wild” series, which began with a coin depicting a howling wolf. This piece was produced by the renowned Royal Canadian Mint. The coin was struck in 0.99999 fine gold, one of the highest precious metal purities used in modern minting.

The eagle is a bird of prey from the hawk family found in North America. As a national symbol of the United States, it is one of the most recognizable North American birds. Its range includes Canada, Alaska, the continental United States, and Mexico. It is most commonly found near lakes, rivers, and oceans, and builds its nests in tall, mature trees.

Obverse of the coin features the profile of Queen Elizabeth II, the face value of 200 Canadian dollars, and the year of issue – 2018.

Reverse depicts an image of an eagle. The design is complemented by the name of the issuing country – Canada, information about the coin’s weight, and the gold purity mark of 0.99999.
