Gold Bar The Perth Mint: Dune Colored 1 g Gold 2026
The Perth Mint Gold Bar: Dune Coloured 1 g Gold 2026 is a limited-edition release inspired by the iconic science fiction universe of “Dune.” The product has been struck from 1 gram of pure Au 9999 gold by the renowned Australian mint The Perth Mint, known worldwide for producing high-quality precious metals and premium collector issues.
The bar refers to the legendary world of Arrakis created by Frank Herbert, which gained enormous popularity both through the original literary work and modern film adaptations. The main motif of the issue is the monumental desert worm – the sandworm – one of the most recognizable symbols of the Dune universe. The creature’s distinctive appearance and the desert-themed design give the bar a unique, futuristic character.
The design by Sean Rogers has been enhanced with striking colour application, which highlights the details of the composition and increases the product’s collector appeal. The low mintage of only 3,000 pieces worldwide makes this issue highly sought after by collectors and science fiction fans alike. The bar is delivered in its original protective card, which also serves as an attractive display-style packaging.
Obverse depicts a coloured image of the legendary desert worm – the sandworm – with its characteristic spiked rings. The design is complemented by the “Dune” logo and the mintmark “P” of The Perth Mint.
Reverse features the swan, the official logo of The Perth Mint. The reverse also includes information regarding the bar’s weight and gold purity.
