Germany: UNESCO World Heritage Site - Upper Middle Rhine Valley 1/2 oz Gold 2015 collector's issue of the €100 gold coin from the "UNESCO World Heritage Site" series is dedicated to the "Middle Upper Rhine". The 65-kilometre stretch of the Rhine Valley attracts tourists with its monuments and its wealth of animal and plant species.

The gold coin is minted in Au.9999 bullion, weighing 1/2 troy ounce. The production of the gold coins took place equally in five German mints in Berlin (A), Munich (D), Stuttgart (F), Karlsruhe (G) and Hamburg (J), with 32,600 pieces from each mint. It is also worth mentioning that the gold coin is a product that is guaranteed by the German government and is fully legal tender in the issuing country. The whole coin is delivered in an exclusive case together with a numbered certificate of authenticity.

The Averse of the gold coin shows the eagle, which is characteristic of the coat of arms of Germany, the inscription "BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND "and information about the year of mintage and the face value.

Rewers show a map of the Upper Middle Rhine and the inscriptions "UNESCO WELTERBE" and "OBERES MITTELRHEINTAL".
