Discover Poland - Tykocin 5 zł 2025
The church was built between 1742 and 1749 at the initiative of Grand Crown Hetman Jan Klemens Branicki. The project combines elements of late Baroque and Rococo grandeur, and the interior features works by renowned artists, including the painting Holy Trinity by Szymon Czechowicz and portraits of the founder and his wife by Antoni Tallmann. The coin was minted in 2025 using a copper-nickel ring and an aluminium-bronze core, with a total weight of 6.54 grams and a diameter of 24 mm. This collector coin is issued in a limited mintage of up to 1,000,000 pieces. The “Tykocin” coin is both a valuable numismatic item and a meaningful souvenir for lovers of Polish history and architecture.
