Discover Poland - Shipping Canal through the Vistula Spit 5 PLN 2023
The coin was struck in 2023: a copper-nickel ring and core and aluminium-nickel bronze with a total weight of 6.54 grams and a diameter of 24 mm. This collector's item has a limited mintage of up to 1,000,000 pieces.
On the obverse there is the inscription "THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND" and 5 ZŁ" in a semicircle. At the bottom of the image of the eagle established as the state emblem of the Republic of Poland, there is the date of issue of the coin.
Rewers depict a canal connecting the Vistula Lagoon with the Bay of Gdańsk. The reverse bears the inscription "Vistula Lagoon Navigation Channel", designed by Paweł Pietras.
