The obverserepresents the Mont Saint Michel building, an image of Queen Elizabeth II and a map of France. The obverse also bears the inscription "ELIZABETH II", "COOK ISLANDS" and the denomination. The designer of the obverse was Ian Rank-Broadley.
The reverse features a coloured Mont Saint Michel and the inscriptions "MONT SAINT MICHEL" and "1923-2023".
