Amidst this captivating chapter of 'Wild West' history, three individuals stand out on the coin: Wild Bill Hickok, Calamity Jane and Billy the Kid.
The coin was struck in copper, weighing 50 grams, with a diameter of 38.61 mm, in prooflike and ultra high relief. The mintage of the coin is 5,000 pieces. The product is full legal tender in the Cook Islands.
The obverse depicts a cart drawn by horses on which two men are seated. While the top of the coin features an image of King Charles III. The obverse also bears the inscription 'CHARLES III', 'COOK ISLANDS' and the denomination and year. The obverse was designed by Daniel Thorne.
Rewers show three cowboys. The reverse also contains the inscriptions: "WILDWEST", "DEAD MAN'S HAND".
