Congo: Prehistoric Life - Dunkleosteus coloured 1 ounce Silver 2023 is an investment coin, which is the eleventh release coming from the Prehistoric Life series. It is worth noting at this point that the prehistoric collection will include 12 coins that will be issued from 2020 to 2023. The coin depicts the prehistoric armoured fish - Dunkleosteus. The animal was found in the shallow seas of the North American, African and European continents around 380 to 360 million years ago. The fish reached a body length of up to six metres, making it one of the largest predators in the aquatic environment. The silver bullion containing the image of Dunkleosteus has been made of pure Ag.9999 silver, weighing one troy ounce and measuring 38.6 mm in diameter. What's more, this bouillon product has a limited mintage of only 2,000 pieces. It is also a full-fledged legal tender, guaranteed by the Government of the Republic of Congo.

The Averse of the silver coin depicts the coat of arms of the Republic of Congo and information on the face value, weight and proof of the bullion used. The Rewers shows a coloured image of Dunkleosteus, the inscription "PREHISTORIC LIFE". The reverse also shows the year the coin was struck.
