Chinese Myths and Legends: Phoenix 1 oz Silver 2023 Antiqued (Coin in card version)
The specimen was minted in pure Ag.9999 sterling silver, with a total weight of one troy ounce, in antiqued standard. The coin is a continuation of the Chinese Myths and Legends series, which also includes the Phoenix, Dragon, Double Pixiu, Dragon&Dragon, Dragon&Tiger, Dragon&Phoenix coins.
The silver coin features a serrated edge and has a diameter of 40.9mm. In addition, this coin is one of the premium products, characterised by a limited mintage of 500 pieces. The coin is full legal tender in the issuing country and is guaranteed by the Australian Government.
The Overt shows a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The whole is surrounded by the inscription "ELIZABETH II 1952 -2022 AUSTRALIA" and information about the date of issue, weight, mintage and face value of the coin. The designer of the obverse was Jody Clark.
Rewers depict a phoenix. In addition, the reverse bears the letter 'P', indicating that the Perth Mint is the manufacturer of the coin.
