Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Dame Vera Lynn £2 Silver 2022 Proof Piedfort Coin is a unique product that commemorates and pays tribute to British singer Dame Vera Lynn. The singer lived from 1917 to 2020 and began her career before the outbreak of the Second World War. She was one of the most famous stage singers. The coin is minted in Ag.925 sterling silver with gold-plated elements, weighing 24 grams and 28.40mm in diameter, in proof and piedfort. In addition, this unusual specimen was produced by The Royal Mint. The specimen comes with individual, certified packaging. The Overt depicts the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II and the face value and year of mintage of the coin. The obverse was designed by Jody Clark.
