The obverse shows the likeness of King Charles III of the United Kingdom and the denomination and year, as designed by Martin Jennings.
The Rewers of the coin depict the National Gallery building in London. On the reverse are the inscriptions '200 YEARS OF NATIONAL GALLERY'. The reverse was designed by Edwina Ellis.
